(This blog post represents my personal opinion, and should not be interpreted as any official statements from my employer NVIDIA.)
Next month I will host training events at two different conferences. Both events are based on chapters from LDL.
The first presentation is named Introduction to Learning Deep Learning, which takes the form of an NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Training Lab. This session is part of NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference, which this time around is hosted in a European-friendly time zone. This is a fully online event. The presentation covers material from the first five chapters of LDL, including some programming examples.
Session: Introduction to Learning Deep Learning
Date: Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Time: 15.00 – 17.00 Central European Time (6am – 8am Pacific time)

The second presentation is named Introduction to DL-based Natural Language Processing using TensorFlow and PyTorch. It takes the form of a workshop at Open Data Science Conference (ODSC) West. This is a hybrid event where I will present in person in San Francisco, with attendees both physically present and online. The presentation covers material from the chapters that are focused on Natural Language Processing, including attention and the Transformer architecture.
